Weekend at the Beach

We spent last weekend at the beach with mama, daddy, and Emily. It was such a beautiful weekend that we thought we would take Mia out on the beach. I guess she forgot how much she liked the sand back in the summer because she wanted no part of it this time. She insisted on being carried the whole time we were out there. Of course, grandpa and mimi were happy to oblige!

And lo and behold we finally have a top tooth breaking through! Mia isn't shy at all about letting us know how much it hurts. Poor thing! We've got a long way to go!

What Mia is up to....

Mia turned 14 months yesterday, Jan. 4th. She has been a busy little girl. We spent New Years weekend at the beach with my family. We shopped and relaxed. I'll try to post some pics later. Mia's new word is I thank you, which comes out "I tank u." She has also started saying "Oh boy!" It's funny because she thanks for everything. If she feeds the doggies off of her plate she thanks them. If you take something that she hands you, she thanks you. She is very gracious! She has also become very attached to her blankets with the satiny feel to the back of them. She rubs them to fall asleep - when she actually sleeps of course! Yes, we're back not sleeping well. Maybe it has something to do with her only having 2 teeth still. I don't know. Maybe there are 8 that are about to come in. That's what I'm going to have to chalk it up to!
